Lisa & David | Federal Reserve Building | DC Proposal Photographer

David and Lisa were visiting DC for a long weekend. Lisa thought it was just a mini vacation, but David had something a little more special up his sleeve. The day of the proposal, David told Lisa his friend was able to score them a tour of the Federal Reserve Building in Washington DC. Little did she know, that was just a trick so he had an excuse to walk right by it and propose directly in front of it. David is a HUGE finance guy so proposing in front of such a special building seemed like a no brainer….not to mention it is a GORGEOUS building. Lisa had forgotten her shoes so she had to buy some to walk around in that morning. We all know that walking around in newly bought shoes that haven’t been worn in is the worst and David unfortunately (or fortunately) had her walking around a little more than she was expecting. I could tell when I spotted them that her feet were hurting from those new shoes but it’s amazing how something like a proposal can make one forget about all of that. David got down on one knee and proposed and you could just see the joy and excitement right afterwards and while we continued taking photos. Evidently everyone (family & friends) knew it was going to happen but Lisa. I just love all the anticipation and white lies that come with a proposal. I am so happy I could be part of this exciting moment and capture this special moment for Lisa & David!
