I was excited about Megan & Isaac’s wedding for several reasons. First, these two are a blast and are such fun and unique people. Second, they were having an awesome country band and I just knew it would be a “let your hair down” kind of wedding. And last, LynnAaron from Eventi was designing the wedding so I knew there would be a bizillion cute details. And I was spot on about it all. We started the day off with Isaac and his crew. They got ready in an RV. This was not just any old RV but more of a if you were a traveling rock star kind of RV. Isaac’s family set up a tailgate right outside the RV and were hanging out until the wedding began. It was so fun and such a unique place for getting ready photos. After getting ready with Megan and her girls in the onsite cabin, we took some portraits and headed to the ceremony which was right on the grounds of the gorgeous Huntingfields Farm. I have photographed many barn weddings before but Huntingfields Farm is by far my favorite. Never have I seen a barn venue with such gorgeous grounds. It is one of those places that I could have photographed portraits at forever. At any rate, unfortunately we couldn’t do that because we had a reception to get to a party to be had. Delta Spur who are the nicest group of guys ever kept the dance floor packed and were such a blast. I don’t listen to country music on a regular basis but it does remind me of home and definitely makes me want to dance. Since Isaac is in the sheep business and a lot of Megan & Isaac’s friends are as well, they thought auctioning off a dance with each of them was the way to go. They had real auctioneers (the fast talking kind) who were their friends of course. A dance with these two did not come cheap and it was so fun to watch people bid back and forth. At the end of the party, a firework display commenced. I had so much fun with these two and I wish them a lifetime of happiness and sheep-loving together!
