I’ve known Katy for awhile now because we are both members of the Junior League of Baltimore so I was so excited when she asked me to photograph her wedding. Katy and Neal are both hilarious and never without a smile on their faces.  I imagine that these two are the kind of couple that are constantly making one another laugh. During their Federal Hill and American Visionary Art Museum engagement session, they shared a secret to their wedding planning which I thought was genius. To keep the wedding planning fun and to keep it from becoming stressful and seeming like a chore (like most couples feel like by the end of their engagement), they don’t discuss anything wedding related without a beer in hand. So simple but so smart and something I have never heard before. I’m so excited to photograph their Mt. Washington Mill Dye House wedding in November!
