I typically photograph weddings but when I was asked to photograph a baby shower, I was so excited to mix it up yet still be able to capture memories of a very special day in someone’s life.  Lucky’s baby shower was held at her mother’s beautiful home in Lutherville, Maryland.  Alexis (and her mom) were smiling from ear to ear the entire afternoon. Happiness like that is contagious and it certainly spread to every single guest in attendance.  The afternoon started off in the foyer with Peach Bellinis served in baby bottles while appetizers were passed.  Guests were asked to fill out mad libs that speculated to baby’s life as she/he grows up.  Each guest also guessed the sex and birthday of the baby by placing their name on a special calendar.  And lastly, guests filled out cards that gave baby a bucket list for his/her first year.  After everyone had arrived, an array of delicious food was served by Carey’s Fine Foods.  Guests moved into the main room where the mad libs were read aloud and presents were opened.  Each guest left with a bouquet of flowers as a thank you.

This rain boot inspired baby shower was planned by the fabulous Pam from Elizabeth Bailey Weddings & Events.  Always so much fun to work with this group!

So happy for Lucky and her family! This baby is definitely going to be surrounded by lots and lots of love.  And my guess……a baby girl.
