You might remember that Alicia is my sister who is getting married in June.  Although I will not be photographing their wedding (I will have maid of honor duties to tend to), I did want to photograph their engagement session.  Because Alicia & Patrick live in Memphis and I live in Baltimore, trying to arrange a time to take these photos has proven difficult.  Our first session together was at the beach during family vacation.  Of course, the only day that worked was one of the last days we were there…..and it rained about 15 minutes into our session.  Then I decided to make a special weekend trip down to Memphis for a visit and for another go at engagement photos.  We were ready to go and had the day planned early in the weekend…..and of course it rained again.  This was so disspointing as we were all very excited.  Because of Patrick’s crazy med school schedule, the only other time we could schedule her session was at 5am in the morning……and we only had about 30 minutes and that included a couple different locations and an outfit change.  At any rate, we managed to get a few good shots and I suppose at some point in time, we will have to have another session together :).
