Emilie & Michael’s wedding was not what they had originally planned or had envisioned in their heads. Their wedding day and location were moved several times. In fact, I wasn’t even their original photographer. But after a lot of back and forth, they made it. And it was a beautiful celebration with their closest friends and family. Emilie has the most contagious smile that I have ever encountered. And she’s so easy going–always just wanting to make sure other people are happy. I turned to Michael at some point during portraits and said “Is she always like this?”. And he said yes. Michael, I think you have it made with this one. We started the day off getting ready at Emilie’s childhood home and then headed to Schaefer’s Canal House in Chesapeake City, MD for an intimate wedding and celebration. This wedding was so relaxed and so happy. I feel honored that I was able to capture these memories for Emilie & Michael. Congrats you two!
