The weather the morning of Heather & Max’s wedding day was gorgeous! During the getting ready part of the day, Heather was relaxed….and honestly just so super excited for all the festivities to begin. She looked absolutely gorgeous and after putting on her dress, she was ready to begin portraits. But right as that was supposed to happen, it started raining which meant no outdoor photos. I was fine with it because we were at the beautiful Royal Sonesta Harbor Court and there are plenty of great indoor photography locations! During my time getting to know Max, I knew him as a goofy, fun-loving guy that was constantly trying to make Heather laugh. On the wedding day, we all saw the more sensitive side of Max. He made Heather this adorable puzzle. Each hour while she was getting ready, she received a new piece of the puzzle. On each puzzle piece, he had written a note to her. When the puzzle was put together, it was a photo from their engagement session. At the end, he had a frame for the puzzle as well as a gift for her. During the ceremony, he couldn’t hold back the tears. And we all know when a groom starts crying, there isn’t a dry eye in the house. I loved seeing this side of him and I loved seeing these two lovebirds together–they are too cute! The reception started off immediately with a packed dance floor and it was that way the entire evening. So. Much. Fun. Dancing! I had a blast photographing Heather & Max’s wedding day and I wish them so much happiness in their future together!
