Heather & Ray….beautiful people inside and out. These two were so easy going throughout this whole process and were a blast to work with as I had expected. I have photographed several of their friends’ weddings so I knew the reception would have lots of fun dancing and gorgeous guests. The getting ready part of the day is one of the most fun parts of the day for me (ok well pretty much all the parts of the day are fun but I especially enjoy the getting ready for some reason). There is so much anticipation and excitement during the getting ready. Heather’s mom was so sweet and was pretty much crying the entire time Heather was putting on her dress. Whenever a mother or father cries, I just imagine she is reminiscing about her daughter’s life and how it has probably flown by and now she is all grown up and has found this wonderful man that makes her happy. #5746510 reason why I love my job. Anyway, after getting ready, we headed to St. Stephen Catholic Church for the ceremony and then over to Richardson Farms for the reception. I just have to say that the food at Richardson Farms was absolutely delicious!!! Like really delicious and very well presented as well and I see and eat a lot of different food at weddings and just in general. The evening continued with some emotional and hilarious toasts as well as the super fun dancing I was expecting. It was such an honor to photograph Heather & Ray’s wedding and I look forward to seeing them again in 2016 at Kirsten & Chuck’s wedding!
