We had so much fun exploring DC on this beautiful Spring evening.  I met Heather and Ryan at the Smithsonian Museum to begin our time together.  We explored the gardens there, walked on the mall for a bit, and then it was time for an outfit change.  I have to admit I was a little obsessed when Heather revealed her second outfit with the strands of pearls and those red shoes–LOVE! We then went to the Washington Monument, the Tidal Basin, and the World War II Memorial.  The sun was setting by this time so we were able to snag some gorgeous sunset pictures.

I love engagement sessions because it really gives me a chance to get to know a couple before their wedding.  Heather and Ryan are such a sweet, sweet couple together.  They are playful with one another and their love is evident in their interactions. I’m really excited to be photographing their wedding in September at the Hyatt Regency Capitol Hill.  Heather shared with me some of the details they are planning thanks to the help of  Lauryn from Table 6 Productions and it will definitely be a post that you do not want to miss so stay tuned….
