I loved how this family came to the session in more formal attire.  Apart from weddings, most family sessions are more casual so this was a nice change of pace.  Little Gianna had her mom’s beautiful eyes and wore a coat for part of the session that was handmade for her mom when she was a baby by her grandmother.  I love those special family touches.  The funniest part of this session was when we were trying to get Gianna to smile.  Her parents quickly pulled out one of those cards that plays a song when you open it up.  All of a sudden I hear “Jump” by Kris Kross.  It was all I could do to start taking pictures and not break out into dance.
