Kate and Jack were one of the most relaxed couples I have ever worked with which I loved.  They were not stressed over the details of the day, but were truly just excited to get married and share the day with their close friends and family.  I started the day off with Kate and a few of her friends at Mason & Friends where Kate was having her hair put into an up-do. We then headed over to Kate’s aunt’s house to finish getting ready.  Kate seriously looked gorgeous!  She reminded me of Old Hollywood glam with her lace dress, snow white skin, and red lipstick.  We had a first look and portraits at a lake across the street from the venue.  These two knew exactly what to do from their engagement session back in March.  When guests started arriving, they kept busy by filling out a wedding inspired Mad Libs which brought about some hilarious stories from the more creative guests.  The ceremony was so sweet filled with laughter and some very emotional vows by the groom.  The officiant was Jack’s mom which made the entire ceremony even more meaningful.  After the ceremony, the celebration continued with some food, toasts, dancing, and even a little bit of game playing (think Cards Against Humanity) by some of the guys towards the end of the wedding evening. Guest enjoyed a little bit of smore roasting and left with a box full of homemade cookies.  Such a sweet day and a sweet celebration.  So excited I was there to capture it. Congrats Kate & Jack!! Wishing you many more happy years ahead of you!
