On the day that we were supposed to have Kendra and Matt’s engagement session, it was pouring down rain most of the day.  After talking on the phone with Kendra, we decided to go for it.  If it continued to rain, we would find someplace inside.  Plus I was up for some rainy pictures if it did happen to rain the whole time.  We arrived at the  Friends School of Baltimore where Kendra went to school.  It was pouring down rain when we arrived–so much so that we couldn’t even start the session.  We waited about 20 minutes and it finally stopped raining and was beautiful the rest of the evening!  After having fun on the playground and an outfit change, we headed to the beautiful Homeland neighborhood for some sunset photos.  And I guess waiting for the rain to stop paid off because the sky was absolutely gorgeous.

And by the way, Kendra thinks she isn’t good at photos but in fact, she is amazing! So beautiful–absolutely love their photos.  Kendra and Matt are the sweetest and I’m so excited for their 2014 wedding at the Royal Sonesta!
