If rain on a wedding day is any indication of a happy marriage, Kristy & Jeremiah will be extremely happy for a very long time. We started the day off with Kristy and her bridesmaids getting ready at O’Callaghan’s Hotel in Annapolis, Maryland. After getting ready, the plan was to head to the Naval Academy and take portraits of Kristy & Jeremiah for three hours before the ceremony began–that never happens! I was so excited to have so much time for portraits in such a gorgeous setting. Well just like with life, plans on a wedding day often change. We walked out the door of the hotel and it was pouring! Like, cats and dogs pouring. I walked about ten yards to my car and I was completely drenched. Luckily, Kristy was able to get into her car without having to step a toe in the rain. When we arrived at the Naval Academy Club, she waited in the car until it had somewhat stopped raining. Although the rain might have delayed things a little bit, we still had plenty of time for portraits after the rain subsided. AND while we were walking around taking portraits, the weather created the most gorgeous rainbow EVER!! I think it was worth it. I’m so happy that Kristy & Jeremiah were able to celebrate their perfect wedding with their closest family and friends. I’m also so happy I was there to document it. Congrats you two!!
