Greg casually walked Maddie to the top of Federal Hill Park on their way to lunch and a beautiful fall day. Maddie might have had an inkling that something was going on but she didn’t let on and I don’t think her excitement or reaction could have been any greater. Once they were to the top of the park with Baltimore City behind them, Greg got down on one knee. Maddie was shaking and crying. It was the sweetest thing ever. I love that after a proposal, the moment doesn’t end. It continues and continues–the shock, the excitement and everything else continue to radiate throughout the couple for the remainder of our time together….and probably long after that. Portraits after a proposal are always the most fun! After a few portraits, Greg had another surprise up his sleeve. All of Maddie’s family, parents and sisters, and Greg’s mom all came from out of town to celebrate with them. Their reactions to the proposal were so sweet. I can tell these two have so much love surrounding them. I’m so happy could be a part of Maddie and Greg’s special day. I wish them much happiness in their future together.
