That overjoyed, ear-to-ear smile never left either Renee or Billy’s face all day long….seriously. These two were so excited to marry one another and everyone around them was just as excited to witness it all happen. After the getting ready photos, we headed up to Federal Hill Park for a first look and some wedding party portraits. We then headed over to the Corradetti Glassblowing Studio in the Clipper Mill area of Baltimore, Maryland to prep for the wedding ceremony and reception. If you have never been to Corradetti, you absolutely must check it out. It is a real glassblowing studio that sells beautiful pieces of art. It is also a very unique and cool space as a wedding venue. It has an intimate and rustic and urban feel all at the same time. The only downside is that it doesn’t come with the absolutely fabulous feather and twinkle light ceremony backdrop. For that, you will need to hire the equally fabulous Eventi by Diana Venditto. Big thanks to Diana for making the day run smoothly and helping create a gorgeous wedding!
After the ceremony and toasts, it was time for the traditional Irish Car Bomb Shots. Well traditional to Renee & Billy that is. Whenever Renee & Billy have people over or are out with friends, Irish Car Bombs are happening. So of course, their wedding was no different. Irish Car Bombs were served to everyone at the wedding (if they wanted to partake of course) to get the party started! And the party definitely started. The dance floor was packed all night long! Love it!
And if you are wondering if Renee & Billy had Irish Car Bomb shots during their engagement session, the answer is yes! Check it out here.
I’m so incredibly happy for Renee & Billy and wish them the happiest of days in their future together. Although this blog post is about the two of them, I would like to dedicate it to the memory of Alice Jaqueth, Renee’s mom. Unfortunately, Alice passed away almost exactly a month after Renee & Billy’s wedding day. According to Renee, her mom was, “an amazing, beautiful woman that always put others first and had a smile and hug ready whenever it was needed.” I’m sure that short description is just the tip of the iceberg when it comes to describing what a wonderful person Alice was and the impact she had on her family and friends throughout her life. I didn’t know Alice, but I know she raised an amazing and beautiful daughter with a smile that lights up the room so she must be just as amazing. I also know she is so thankful that she was able to see that beautiful smile on a beautiful and fun wedding day.
