This engagement session definitely started off as an adventure.  I arrived to Camden Yards before Renee & Mike to scout out our plan.  I knew exactly where I wanted to take them and I was so excited.  Right when Renee & Mike arrived, I turned around to notice the security guard locking up the gates.  Oh no!! I ran over to him and asked if there was anyway we could come inside for 20 minutes….or even 10.  When photographing an engagement session and especially a wedding, sometimes people will let you break the rules if you ask nicely.  He said no and we were all sad but started making the best of the situation by beginning our session from the outside of the ballpark.  About 15 minutes later, an unnamed man who had told us no a few minutes earlier gave us the secret to sneaking in the ballpark.  He said we would have 10 minutes before we were asked to leave.  Perfect! That is all we needed.  We were sneaky and actually only had about three minutes before we were nicely asked to leave (pretty sure this happens all the time by the security guards reaction to us).  So glad we did this because we were able to get some amazing photos from it.

After Camden Yards, we headed over to Federal Hill for a not so impressive sunset but made up for it with some amazing night shots.  I’m loving photographing at night more and more every time I have a session.  Renee and Mike were so sweet together.  They were loving on each other the entire time which really makes things so much easier for me.  Typically I can tell when a couple begins to fade, but this engagement session lasted 2.5 hours and I’m pretty sure we could have kept going with these two. So much fun! Even though Renee is the Event Coordinator at Hillendale Country Club in in Phoenix, Maryland, these two are getting married at Mountain Branch Golf Club in Joppa, Maryland.  I’m so excited to photograph their wedding in October!
