Rose & Alex were married at the gorgeous Baltimore wedding venue, the Belvedere. I started off photographing the guys at The Owl Bar. I’ve photographed many weddings at Belvedere but for some reason I have never photographed any photos in The Owl Bar and I have no idea why because it is an awesome place for couple portraits and for those moody, dramatic shots that I love. Anyway, from now on, it will obviously be on my list for “places to photograph” when I shoot weddings there. The groomsmen and Alex were super laid back and easy going. They had a few drinks, played some cards, and just relaxed and enjoyed their time together before Alex was married. The bridesmaids and Rose were just as relaxed and having just as much fun. We finished the first look, couple portraits, bridal party portraits, and family portraits all before the ceremony which is the way to do it in my book. These two were smiles ear to ear the entire time during the Ketubah signing and well basically for the rest of the evening after that. After saying their vows under a gorgeous draped chuppah, it was reception time. After dinner and toasts, the dance floor stayed packed and these two were having a blast. Of course, I couldn’t not sneak Rose & Alex away for the obligatory Belvedere night photographs. Somehow photographing these particular night shots never get old. I’m pretty sure some couples choose the Belvedere as their venue just so they can have these particular night shots and I love it! I’m so, so happy for Rose & Alex–they are the absolute sweetest and cutest together. And I’m so happy I could be there to document their wedding day!
