Sarah & Pete are seriously just the cutest together! I think I have more pictures of them cuddling and kissing on the dance floor than I’ve ever had at a wedding. I just love capturing moments like that. These two were married at the same place I photographed their engagement session–Gibson Island Club. Sarah & Pete have a boat and spend a lot of time on the island so this was obviously the perfect place for them to get married. Pete got ready in the boat house and Sarah got ready in the cottages. We had an adorable first look complete with a gift from Pete and took some gorgeous pictures along the water. It might have been a tad chilly but it was an absolutely beautiful day! Everyone took golf carts to the ceremony which was in the most adorable wooden chapel you have ever seen in your life. The pews were completely packed and I had about two places I could stand but it made the ceremony so intimate and sweet. Every single person there felt like a part of that ceremony. Guests then took a five minute walk back to Gibson Island Club with Sarah & Pete leading the way. The energy in the room and on the dance floor was electric that night–I had so much fun photographing this crew. Both Sarah & Pete attended Yale and at Yale, you have these things called beer jackets. Sarah & Pete made their own beer jackets for all their guests –along with giving them tamboreans and ribbon wands. And what dance party is complete without all of these accessories? I am so happy for Sarah & Pete and I wish them many years of happy sailing together!
