Last week, I had the opportunity to attend a 2.5 day intensive workshop led by the fabulous photographer Susan Stripling.  I have admired her work for a long time so I was so excited when I found out she was offering a workshop in Alexandria!  We discussed composition, lens selection, compression, angles, framing, space, symmetry, off camera lighting, natural lighting, post production, business, marketing, and so much more.  A big thanks to Sidecar: Post for leading us through post production and off camera lighting.  I learned so much during these 2.5 days and it makes me even more excited to photograph all of my upcoming engagements and weddings.  We even made time for a couple of photo sessions so we could practice what we learned.  Enjoy some of the photos I took during the workshop–LOVE!
