Believe it or not, this was my very first time photographing a courthouse wedding and I was so excited! Vanessa & Luis, originally from Peru, have made Washington DC their home and decided to make it official by exchanging their vows at the Moultrie Courthouse.  They had several family members fly in all the way from Peru as well as others from around the country to witness the event.  The ceremony was short and casual but it had the same meaning and emotions as any large wedding ceremony which I loved.  There were laughs and even a few tears shed by the beautiful bride.  After the ceremony, the crew headed over to the Meridian Hill Park for a picnic and champagne.  I was also able to steal Vanessa & Luis away for a few portraits around the beautiful park.
