Nayarie and Angel could not have had more perfect weather for their outdoor wedding. The ceremony and reception were held at a private residence in White Hall, MD. Besides the rustic barn and haybales, all of the trees were in bloom and beautiful green rolling hills went as far as the eye could see. Both of these brides were super laid back on their wedding day and were giddy to share their happiness with all of their friends and family.
One of my favorite things about weddings is the pure and utter joy that surrounds the day. Not just from the couple, but from each and every family and friend in attendance. I had a new assistant working with me on this particular wedding and after the toasts she told me, “I don’t even know this couple, but I’m crying.” Obviously tears of joy for the marriage of Nayarie and Angel. I love this. I love that a perfect stranger can become engrossed with the couple’s story and can feel the same joy that the couple’s friends and family are experiencing. Of course, I have this feeling every time I photograph a wedding which is one of the reasons I love my job so much. The moral of the story is happiness is contagious–pass it on!
Congrats to Nayarie and Angel. Thank you for letting me be a part of your day!
